It was great work, great cleanup and I’m very happy with the outcome. I liked that he didn’t pressure me, but when I asked questions he was a trusted consultant not a sales man.

From start to finish a top notch roofing job! We had to replace a 25+ year old roof. Two layers of shingles had to be removed and quite a few boards replaced. It was completed in one day! They took care to move all our patio furniture, pots, etc and cover all our landscaping to minimize damage. They also did a great job with the clean up. Overall a great experience and a great price. Highly recommend!

Joe and his team replaced my roof and gutters in a most professional manner. Joe was on time or early for quoting, follow up, install ion and clean up. The team was extremely responsive and cleaned up after themselves completely. The roof and gutters look great and came in on budget. Although their pricing wasn’t the cheapest, it was extremely competitive and I do not regret using Kontz Construction as my contractor. I will definitely consider using Joe and his team for any future home improvement projects that I am considering.

Joe Kontz is professional and communicative. He quickly provided us an estimate to replace our 20-year-old roof including repairing a dormer which our original builder failed to correctly flash. He came to our home to review the quote and we did not feel rushed to decide. He fully answered all our questions. He informed us of any additional costs that could arise, such as any plywood that needed to be replaced; he showed me the rotted 3 pieces of plywood that needed replacing as proof of the additional cost. Additionally, Joe does not request payment until the job is complete, not even a deposit! He runs an honest business! After dealing with several other roofers, we decided to have Kontz Construction do the job. His team was at our hone for about 8 hours and took the best possible care to tarp our plants and bushes surrounding our home. Although there was some damage to some of the plants, I do not know if that could have been prevented. They cleaned up well and after this weekend’s rain, we did not experience any leaking from the dormer that was repaired. I am confident that if issues occur, Joe will address them promptly.
